Glass art

First entered the world of art as a painter in 1979 after she had polished her talent under the guidance of renowned artists: Mustapha el Razzaz. Abo Bakr Nawawi, Emad Risk. After which she participated in a number of exhibitions. The realm of glass art attracted her in 2008 when working with her sister, famous glass artist Maha Abdelkarim and her husband, Artist Zakaria El Khonani in their atelier at Harania, where she developed her individual approach and style . As a glass artist she participated in a number of exhibitions, the most important of which are: *Glass art exhibition, El Geziera Art Centre 2012. * glass art exhibition in the inauguration ceremony of glass art Museum, Harrania 2013 * Handy crafts fair at Elfostat Centre 2015 * Droub art gallery 2018 and 2019 * Cordoba gallery, 2019 * Academy of arts -in the occasion of 150 years of the opening of Suez Canal 2020. * Mahmoud Saeed Museum, Alexandria, exhibition 2020 She held a number of individual glass art exhibitions including: *“My Glass Garden” at Harrania Museum 2015 *Dai Gallery ,2017 *“Dialog” Dai Gallery) 2021 A member in The Syndicate of Plastic Arts. Currently ,she continues her art work at the workshop attached to the Museum of Glass Art at Harrania where she also holds Glass Art classes.
