CIAD, a parallel event to the fourth edition of the “Eternity is Now” exhibition at the Giza pyramids, providing a stage for both local and international artists to explore the rich history and pulsating presence of Downtown Cairo
R’kan Edition proudly showcased a masterpiece : The Alex Secretary, inspired by Adel Moustafa’s stunning, “Valentine’s in Alexandria,” painting. This magnificent functional art piece designed by Rania Fahmy is made of a mix of rich finishes. Each shade of the lit coloured glass shimmers in response to your movement, creating a spectrum that both entices and envelops. As you wander, your eyes catch a crafted arrangement of intricate brass flowers nestled together embracing the solid acrylic legs. This secretarty was truly was a show stopper.
R’kan Edition also displayed the Splash Table designed by Rania Fahmy and reflecting the dynamic and organic shape of a water splash. The tabletop is handmade colored glass crafted by artist Maha Abdelkarim, allowing light to pass through while providing a hint of translucency.
